You can try to sharpen your weapons here. To do so you need metal which can be acquired by Mining (see Gathering).
You start with a 35% success rate to succeed. Every successful attempt will give you some experience. Leveling up your forging will increase your success rate by 0.015%.

When your forging attempt succeeds your weapon will be 10% more powerful per level. You can forge the same weapon up to level [10], however if a forging attempt fails your weapon will be reset back to it's original state.

A spreadsheet is located here to help you see the statistical chances of reaching each level given your current success chance.


You can also add sockets to your weapon, you can have a maximum of three sockets.

Socket 1 cost : 10,000 Metal

Socket 2 cost : 50,000 Metal and requires level 200 Forging.

Socket 3 cost : 250,000 Metal and requires level 500 Forging.
